Robert Relyea enlisted on November 11, 1942 in the Army Air Corps serving with the 717 Bombardment Squadron. He was killed in action in Grottag, Italy May 21, 1944. He was a native of the Town of Tioga, and is buried there. He was survived by his wife Eleanor and daughter Carol.
Notes:(1) Difficult to tell, but some records look like month & day of birth were transposed. I used 9 Dec 1922 for DOB rather than 12 Sep 1922.
